Great post, Adam. :-) Personally, I try to look within myself when I start feeling empty or depressed. I take a step back and assess what I’ve been doing with my life. If I feel that things start going gray, I try to live more by spending time with family and friends, watching my favorite shows and appreciating the little moments. I also find that giving more by helping out when I can fills part of this void. If I get to do these and more whenever the “call” comes, then I hope it keeps calling. :-)

A beautiful post Adam. I'm at that familiar edge again... and this time I'm not even looking for "stuff" to fill the void. I almost wish chocolate or ice cream was attractive to me right now, but I've not had a craving for it. Talk about disconcerting. Thank you for posting this. You have a real way with words "urgent" becomes gentle the way you've written about it.
