Well, golly-gee, Adam, you *should* get some kind of cut for such a glowing recommendation. I've heard good things about Evernote but it's fallen between the cracks of the million other things I want to think about/try/do... but after reading your post, and not even watching the video, I felt quite confident I would not regret taking the leap - just clicked, registered, and I'm gonna try it! Thanks!

Exactly - that's why I dig Evernote.

I used to store everything in folders, text files, browser bookmarks, etc. But, I'd always forget that I had it, and when I needed it, I'd go and search for it all over again.

Now, I only bookmark sites that I use frequently, like services. If it's information, it goes into Evernote. I don't store information in folders on my computer; just actual stuff. All informational stuff goes into Evernote. And text files with writing in them? Moved into Evernote.

Having only one place that information can be—and, having it easy to find in that one place—is awesome.

(Geez, you'd think I was getting paid to say all this stuff! I'm not, don't worry.)

Love that video.
Ok, I can definitely use some organizing!
I've heard you mention Evernote before but, oops, must have had that on a sticky note somewhere around here.......
uh, guess I better go get Evernote......... ;)

On a serious note, between making folders on my mac, bookmarking etc. I feel like I'm organizing, but doesn't seem to always work. Still can't find things sometimes so I will really go check Evernote out this time and see if it will help.
Thanks once again,
