With all the changes going on around us, it is but natural that we experience a slight tightening in our chest now and then. Still, we should not let fear control our lives. Despite challenges and changes, we can still make things work to our advantage. In these trying, frightening times, we all need to find strength within ourselves to weather the storm. More often than not, it causes people to turn back even before taking the first step. I agree, it is admirable when someone keeps his values and sense of self even in the face of his greatest fears. If only more people recognize that fear is a poison that can cripple judgment or cause one to act irrationally — and taking control of it gives room for growth — they’ll be able to live life more. :-) Thank you for sharing this story. :-)

Yes, fear does hinder a lot of things. More often than not, it causes people to turn back even before taking the first step. I agree, it is admirable when someone keeps his values and sense of self even in the face of his greatest fears.

If only more people recognize that fear is a poison that can cripple judgment or cause one to act irrationally — and taking control of it gives room for growth — they’ll be able to live life more. :-)
